Your seat in Loyola Hall
There are many places on the Manresa campus that might be considered the “Best Seat in the House”. If you ask the 100+ retreatants who sit in Loyola Hall during eleven 30 minute lectures, each man will probably reply, “Mine is.” This is so because no matter where you sit in Loyola Hall, you have a good view of the speaker at the wooden podium. No matter where you sit, you are in a comfortably upholstered seat with adequate leg room. No matter where you sit, the state-of-the-art sound system (which even includes headphones for the hearing-impaired) delivers the retreat master’s lecture at a comfortable volume. No matter where you sit, the air conditioner neither blows you away nor leaves you wanting for more. No matter where you sit, whether you are architecturally inclined or geometrically obsessed, you are surrounded by beauty. So no matter where you sit in Loyola Hall, your seat surely has to be one of the “Best Seats in the House”! ![]()
