July retreat a real treat

Some of the 25 retreatants from the St. Charles Borromeo Men of Manresa pause briefly for a photo before heading home from the July retreat at Manresa House of Retreats in Convent, Louisiana. The retreat, which began on the evening of July 18, provided both spiritual and physical nourishment for a total of 110 men from parishes such as St. Joseph the Worker (serving Napoleonville and Pierre Part), St. Mary (Natchez), and St. Thomas More (Baton Rouge). Other retreatants came from as far away as Jacksonville, Florida; Kingston, Tennessee; Chevy Chase, Maryland; and Suwanee, Georgia. |
