SCB men go throughout the year
Members of our parish's men's group, the SCB Men of Manresa, have the opportunity to make an annual retreat at various times throughout the year. One large group goes in mid-July, another goes on Labor Day weekend, and smaller groups and individuals go during October, November, January, and other times throughout the year. One veteran retreatant generously shared these comments about his retreat.
"My recent retreat at Manresa provided me again with what I have come to treasure greatly - quiet time for reflection and prayer. "Like most people I know, finding even a very short time away from life's clutter and noise is a great challenge. Our retreat master repeatedly stressed the importance of finding quiet time, to slow down one's thoughts and actions, in order to experience meaningful time with the Lord. The tranquility and peace that I experience at Manresa is a gift that is immeasurable."
