The Lamb, May 2001
Men of Manresa member Ken Boroughs and his family will be completing their move to Spain this month. Ken has been teaching Spanish and coaching track and field at Brother Martin High School since moving from Canada to Destrehan several years ago.
A former marathon runner who is sometimes confused - in name and in stature - with former New Orleans Saint receiver Ken Burroughs, Boroughs is one of the group's official "computer weenies", and also has a reputation within the group for his humor and his inspirational readings. Since being received into the Catholic church several years ago through RCIA, Ken has been a frequent volunteer in many parish activities, ranging from the talent show and the fair to the right-to-life movement and much more. He is also a Eucharistic minister and shares his faith through his gifted voice as a reader at many Masses and other services and parish functions. Ken and his wife Zulma, and their daughters Michelle and Nicole will be missed by all of us, and will remain in our thoughts and prayers.![]()
