And after all these years, this is how I still feel about her.

 

I started driving an 18-wheeler out of necessity. I needed work, and driving was all I could find. It's proven to be one of the best experiences of my life because I re-learned something I'd forgotten: people are still basically good at heart and will, when asked and given the opportunity, go out of their way to help someone in trouble. Guardian Angels come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, and more than a few drive 18-wheelers. So, for all the guardian Angels out there, "Thank you."
