I
grew up hiking and camping in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California
where at an early age I learned to appreciate the beauty of the land and
its many inhabitants. I studied nature first hand with an eye towards capturing
the essence of an animal with my sculpture, drawing, and painting. As a
member of the Zoological Society of San Diego my goal is to promote a true
affection for the wild things around us and help people everywhere to realize
that saving them is the only way to save ourselves.
