Officer Robert C. Smith

Southern Division Juvenile Services Team

Officer Robert C. Smith is a 12 year veteran of the San Diego Police Department.  He has been at Southern Division for nearly 7 years.  He has been assigned to the Juvenile Services Team (JST) for the last 3 months.

Officer Smith served in the United States Navy for 11 years.  Eight of those years were spent as a Diving Medical Technician.   He is a single father of two, a daughter and a son.  Office Smith stays involved in his Chula Vista community as an active member of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO).  He coaches a 12-14 year old boys soccer team and supervises two other girls divisions.  In his spare time, Officer Smith owns and operates a private consulting and training company.
