Speak & Spell (earlier version with hard buttons)
This piece of shit is broken. It's got a big, ugly sticker stain on it. The hard plastic buttons are all jutting out in different directions. It's filthy and smells like a gigantic, 3-story ass.
But it just looks so good on my shelf!
Found this at Red White & Blue thrift store in Harahan, a suburb of New Orleans. RW&B is a great store - huge selection of toys, board games, clothes, toy keyboards, outdated electronics, and the records are usually of better stock than most thrift stores - but everything is a little overpriced. Alleviating this a bit are the daily "these color price tags are half off today" sales... which never seem to be the same color as the tag on what you plan to buy.
