01. Tandy's Cobra Super Copter tabletop game
Y'know, Tandy didn't really try too hard when naming this thing. Seems like they just threw together three "exciting" words in random order and hoped for the best. Even so, Cobra Super Copter is a sweet-looking little tabletop arcade machine from 1983 that beats the odds by also being really fun. Here's a shot of CSC in action:
Okay, that looks like ass, but trust me - it's a good game! CSC was $1.95 at Red White & Blue. By the way, here's a fun little way to name your own Tandy tabletop game. Simply choose one word from each column in any order!

02. Casio SK-60 keyboard
The SK-60 is one of Casio's later entries in their sampling keyboard (SK) line. It looks a lot crappier than the SK-1, but it's actually got some really nice features:
¤ Save four short samples, two medium ones or one 2-second one (even after shutoff.)
¤ Edit samples with Release, Reverse and Loop functions.
¤ Four pad buttons (assignable to samples) with effects button.
¤ "Magical Singer" button (which is actually just the Casio "Human Voice" setting.)
¤ 12-note polyphony, 36 tones, 36 songs, 12 rhythms, requisite gay demo song.
Thumbs up, especially for $3.95 at RW&B.
