Wreath Care
These fresh wreaths from Maine will last many weeks - well through the holiday. With some extra care you can get the maximum life from your wreath. Soaking the wreath in water prior to hanging will extend the life of the wreath. You can do this inside or outside. The bag holding the wreath can be filled with water (there are some holes in the bag), you can use a bucket or put it in your bathtub. The wreath will soak up quite a bit of water. Misting it with water occasionally will also extend the life. Do not hang your wreath inside a storm door - the heat build-up between the two doors will damage it or even kill it especially if it gets direct sunlight. These look great on glass doors. Use an over the door hanger or fishing line to hang it.
For more flair, dress it up with decorations of your own - flower picks, ornaments, battery operated Christmas lights. ENJOY! |
