Films-
 
Adante Productions: previs/animatics  for intro/action sequence (project in pre-production).
 
Mutant Vampire Zombies from the ‘Hood-Stormfront Films:
Created main title graphics/intro sequence, title cards and 2 visual effects shots, as well as animatics.  Output to 24p.
 
Animated logo design and animation-Stormfront Films:  
Created sequence using Maya and After Effects showing ship in turbulent ocean, with camera pullout to space revealing hurricane. Modeled and 
textured ship, hurricane cone, hurricane/earth in Maya, as well as used expression tools to create water motion.  Created 2K texture maps in 
Photoshop, as well as did all final effecting, compositing and color correction in After Effects. Also supplied sound effects. Output to 24p. 
 
The Man in the Machine-Stormfront Films (project uncompleted):
Pre-vis animatics, modeling test and visual effects test for project still in progress. Job duties included creating 15 shots of animatics at 720 X 405 
(video resolution at 16 X 9 HD aspect ratio), at fairly cinema-quality in order to keep continuity with pre-production artwork, color scheme etc. Created 
and textured 3D model of spacecraft and all 3D environments including planet surface based on artwork created by art dept. Animated and 
composited sequences of craft orbiting planet, leaving orbit, crash landing on planet surface, "warping out" effects, particle effects, among others 
based on storyboards supplied by director, the whole time working in constant discussion with director. Also supplied and edited various sound 
effects. 
 
The Atomic Space Bug-Parivision Entertainment:
Various shots for video-res production.  Created shots of meteor in space, burning up in atmosphere and crashing, using 3D and particle effects. Also created lightning effects to be composited over background plate.
 
Stairwell-Parivision Entertainment:
Created pre-vis animatics of destruction sequence.  Also created promo graphics.
 
A Conversation with Norman-Parivision Entertainment:
Created physical model of the Bates house from Psycho. Digitally photographed model for plates to be used in film and promo graphics.  
 
Attack of the Giant Gull (uncompleted project)- Parivision Entertainment:
Effects and animations of giant seagull attacking New York.  Created many models and test shots including fire/explosion effects.
 
800-Parivision Entertainment:
Created physical and digital models of 747 jet. Also created fire and explosion effects.
 
20’s newsreel re-creation-Anthcis Entertainment:
Old scratched film effects and graphics.
 
Robodans Outpost-Academy of Art College project:
Character animation project. Modeled, lit, textured and animated project in Maya, created and edited all sound fx as well as edited entire production in 
After Effects. Rendered and output at 720 x 486.
 
Toons Hotel And Spa-Spillar Studios:
3D character modeling and animating, editing, compositing and sound design. 
 
Various related experience-
 
Animation and graphics for movie concept/script presentation CD-ROM for Stormfront Films, Santa Monica, CA. Also helped assemble and code for 
dual-platform (Mac/PC) format
 
CAD drafting and graphics for Standard Structures Inc. using AutoCAD, Keymark and Maya software, website development (Flash and Photoshop 
graphics). Design manual graphics/production, software development and structural engineering assistance. Created graphics and artwork for 
product literature as well as graphics for technical website.  
 
Addn'l drafting exp. includes various architectural and landscape drawings, as well as steel layouts (various clients-freelance). 
 
Assisted with drafting and 3D work for the Coke Bottle project for Giants Stadium, San Francisco, CA. 
 
CNC/CAD-CAM plastics machining.
 
Spent high school years in video production, documenting sports events, local rock bands and produced a local public access news show.
 
Worked as a lighting and sound technician for local theatrical companies.
 
Filmed and edited movies in 8MM and 16MM.
 

Worked as an extra in the Roger Corman film, "Humanoids from the Deep" (The first one!!). 

Worked as a generator assistant on the film "Dead and Buried" (Produced by Ronald Shusett and Dan O’ Bannon). 

Working in the music and sound engineering field, selling and maintaining high end music gear, sound equipment and software, as well as live and studio sound engineering. Worked in many recording studios including Temple Studio, Albion CA and Dolby Laboratories, San Francisco CA. 

Playing music both solo and in various bands, as well as recording. Instrument duties included electric and acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, MIDI instrument usage, keyboards and sequencer/drum machine programming. Performed, sound engineered and collaborated with many musicians including members of the Byrds, the Doobie Brothers, Quiet Riot, Dave Mason, It’s a Beautiful Day, and many more.   

Softwares:
 
Maya, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Animation Master, Ray Dream 3D, AutoCAD, Flash, Illustrator, Strata 3D and Quicktime Pro. I have also used Z-
brush, 3D Max, Blender, several different 2D/3D CAD programs and various paint and texture generating programs.  
 
I can model using polys or NURBS. In Maya, I am familiar with using dynamics (collisions, soft/rigid bodies, particles, etc), among many others, and I 
am also familiar with many compositing and various effects tools/techniques in After Effects, as well as production fundamentals such as 
image/frame rendering, working in various frame rates and resolutions and using different compression techniques. I also possess character 
animation skills.
