Another downtown fire, this time the J.W. Pugh Department Store in January of 1936. This building's ornate design was covered for years under red brick, but is currently being restored to showcase its original appearance.

McClanahan Place. This home used to be at the present location of First Presbyterian Church, corner of McClanahan and Wellington (S. Jefferson St.) in Southwest Roanoke.
