A streetcar makes its way West on Campbell Avenue at its intersection with Randolph Street (Williamson Road). The old Randolph Street Market's shell can be seen on the right.

The old First Baptist Church.

The Mountain Park Dance Pavilion, showing its interior. The word 'Dancing' is spelled out in the entrance archway. This building was disassembled when Mountain Park closed, and rebuilt at Lakeside Amusement Park in Salem Va. Behind this counter in the City Market building in 1955 is R. E. Peters (on left). He ran his stall there for decades until passing away in 1968 at age 81. Today in the food court, this spot is Zorba's.
