This newly built (1900) house at 115 Mountain Ave. was once home to the J.H. Marsteller family. Note the lions on the pedestals at its entrance. The house still stands today, but the lions currently reside in front of the Lion's Eye Bank at 5th & Elm. Subject to occasional vandalism, possibly they would like to return home.

A glimpse into its foyer reveals the grandeur and grace of those times.
