KFFK Programs

TV Show

We are in the early development/fundraising stages of creating a weekly thirty minute television program called "Enough is Enough" (named after the radio show we once had on Radio Disney in Phoenix).   The focus of this program lies on the issue of Missing Children and the Crime of  Abduction for the purpose of Recovery, Education, Prevention and Awareness.

John Walsh has America’s Most Wanted, well here at Kids Fighting For Kids, those who have been abducted are our Most Wanted. This show will teach kids safety, it will show important interviews with police and other missing children organizations and dramatizations of what has happened to one of our own. Hopefully, soon in the show’s career, we will show reunions.

We look forward to having our weekly program begin. I believe this will become a very important key in finding more kids who have been abducted.

Oprah Winfrey once stated on her show that 41% of the missing children who are shown on television are recovered. This fact was from the ten-year summary "A Report Card to the Nation", September 1994, by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children." We believe that with a weekly television show the percentage rate will increase dramatically.

One final note: A few years ago, the rock group Soul Asylum created and aired a music video called "Runaway Train" in which the faces of about 18 missing children were shown. As a direct result of this video, all but one of these children were reunited with their families.

Fighting IDs

We are going to travel around giving out information on safety and doing photo ID’s. Our photo ID program will be a bit different from the others. We will be telling kids that if they are abducted to throw out their ID cards, drop it or leave it some where. On this card there will be a picture of the child and their name and state they live in. It will also state "If you have found this ID, there is a possibility that I have been abducted. Please contact your local police and/or Kids Fighting For Kids at (Our number)."

Safety Kits

We will be giving out "safety Kits" to children containing such things as whistles, flashlights, and glow in the dark chalk and pens. Kids should be able to write "HELP" somewhere and it should be seen day and night until they are found.

Self-Defense Technique Demonstrations

We will be working with Arizona Family Karate Academy to travel to schools and teach students self-defense techniques.

These are just a few of the programs we have planned - check back often for updates!
