| Tile System |
Allows a user to create, save and load tile-based maps and scenarios.
Initially aimed at helping people develop scenarios for Doom: The Boardgame by Fantasy Flight Games, TileSystem has been expanded to allow customization.
Meaning, if you can generate your own tileset, (a series of .PNG images) then you can create maps using that tileset.
It only runs under Windows operating systems due to it's dependancy on the Micosoft Foundation Classes.
Here are the downloads: (all are zipped)
Tile System Version 3.04 This contains just the files that make up the program. NEW: Now supports OpenGL. To enable OpenGL, find the command under TileSystem's view menu.
Doom Tileset This contains all the Doom Tilesets needed to create or open Doom scenarios, including the expansion.
Here are screenshots of the same scenario (Blood in the Shadows) using first the doom tileset and then the doom design tileset:

Installation instructions:
- Create a folder on your hard drive. (Suggestion: "TileSystem")
- Unzip the file(s) into that folder. (be sure to preserve folder names)
- Run the tilesystem.exe executable.
If you get any "Missing DLL" error messages, you may need the 7.1 version of MFC.
To install the MFC DLLs, unzip them either into the tilesystem directory, or into the \windows\system32 directory.
