"Lady and Thunder"

"Lady Blue Doc"

Lady is a 17 year old Quarter horse that I purchased in 1996. She's a gorgeous 16 hand mare that still hasn't gotten over some form of abuse in her past.
She has improved but I don't think she will ever really trust men. The only male she trusts is my son Sean.
However, she does allow David to put on and take off her fly mask. We do not tie her up as this throws her into a panic, my guess would be that she was tied up and beaten. However, this really does not pose much of a problem for us as she ground ties beautifully. She is a dream under saddle.

"Thunder in July"

Thunderbolt, as I like to call him is a 13 year old little black gelding. He is sweet and gentle  and very solid. One of the things I love about Thunder other than his disposition are his hooves.Thunder has only worn shoes for about six months of his entire life. His hooves are about as healthy as I have seen, virtually no contraction and tough as nails.
