DVD Slideshow General Questions

•
What is a DVD Slide Show?
It’s a slide show created in the form of a DVD movie. It is compatible with almost all DVD players and can be controlled just like a movie (i.e. pause, fast-forward, etc.). You can also add music and customize it with a variety of interactive features.

•
Will the DVD be compatible with my DVD players?
We use DVD-R format, which is supported by almost all DVD players. Please be sure your DVD player supports DVD recordable discs. If you need DVD+R media, please advise us on your order form. Test DVD's can be purchased if you are unsure about compatibility.

• What if I want you to make most of the decisions for my show?
If you feel overwhelmed by this whole process, we will be more than happy to help in any way need be. If you need minor suggestions or help on everything, we are more than happy to assist you.
Feel free to leave the artistic designing to us!

DVD Slideshow Photo Questions

• How do I send my photographs to you?
Please review our simple 6 step process. If you have more specific questions, don't hesitate to contact us!

•
How should I choose the order of the photographs for the slideshow?
There are many ways in which you can choose your order; however, two common ways are by event/theme or chronological. We can offer suggestions if needed!

• Will my photographs be returned to me in the same condition they were sent?
We too would feel very uneasy about sending our irreplaceable photos. Once your photographs have reached our office, they will be handled with the utmost care. There is no food or beverages allowed in our design area and all photographs are handled with gloves so as to not mark or fingerprint them in anyway. There are, unfortunately, extenuating circumstances that are out of our control. The mail system is one of them. We offer advice as to how to package and send them; nonetheless, it is still out of our control. If you are very concerned, you have the option to take your photographs to a photo lab and have them scanned and placed on a CD-R disc. Please have them saved as .jpeg files.

DVD Slideshow Music Questions

• What’s involved in adding music?
You decide what music to add and where to place it. For copyright reasons, you must either send us an original music CD or allow us to download (purchase) your selection of music online from a legal distributor.

•
How much music should I send you?
Music length varies. As a general rule, we need about one minute of music for every 10 images or approximately 1 song for every 20-25 images. It always better to choose too much music than not enough. We can trim and fade songs to fit the needs of your show.
