The English Sixpence

What is a Sixpence?
The sixpence is an English coin that was minted beginning in 1558 and continued until 1967. Sixpence are no longer minted in England and are becoming rare.

How is the Sixpence Packaged?
Heritage Collections presents its sixpence in a copyrighted keepsake holder in the form of a wedding invitation.  This holder is embossed with the rhyme relating the tradition of the wedding sixpence along with a history of that particular sixpence coinage.  Included is an outer envelope for convenience for mailing out of town.  (Copyright 1993 Heritage Collections)
