NUMBER ONE QUESTION: WHERE CAN YOU GET A FUJIPET OF YOUR OWN? Before anyone e-mails me, I CANNOT get you a Fujipet camera. I wish I could, but I live in the US, so it's just as difficult for me to find them as it would be for you. So where do you find them? They show up on Ebay very rarely, maybe twice a year. I still check every few days. Occasionally, someone on toycamera.com offers one up for sale. They do appear quite frequently on various Japanese auction sites. So you find one, but how do you get it? Unfortunately, there is no way to grab one of these from the auction site outside of Japan. You need someone in Japan willing to bid on it, pay for it, have it shipped to them and then ship it to you (it gets expensive...there is also an additional banking fee to pay for the winning auction). Paypal doesn't exist in Japan, and most Japanese sellers will not ship overseas (Ebay completely failed in Japan). It's a struggle, but it makes it all the sweeter you finally get one. Good luck! If I find other online sources, I will post them. Okay, now I can move on to the less important questions... |

WHY DID I CREATE THIS SITE? Mostly because I like the Fujipet. I like my Diana and my Holga cameras, too, but there are plenty of sites about these and other toy cameras. Virtually all of the information on the web about Fujipets is in Japanese. I thought it would be nice to have an English resource. Just to drive you nuts because now you really want one and you can't find them ANYWHERE. Kidding! I hope that there is increased interest in the camera and that maybe they will become more readily available in non-Asian countries in the future. |

IS IT REALLY THAT COOL? Yes. |
