I'm trying to grt better pictures, bad scanner, or it could be the paper the photo's are printed on.
 During our stay
at Greenville we had several different Clubs, One of the Clubs available at
Greenville was the "Hot Rod Club", Not sure but I think the club was a member
of the NHRA, and was widely supported by Col. Chick, our Base
Commander, that allowed the members access to many of the base
shops for high pressure fuel and brake lines
and many other things as well.
