Historical Changes:
06/04/09 -	Added a Proverbs page - I have had the beginnings of this page in the planned directory for a long time, and I decided to heed the words on the page and post it. Also, I finally added to it and made it feel at least slightly substantial. Changed a heading on the news page (Old News and => Historical). Fixed a typo on the Pages by Date page (2003 => 2002). Updated En-site-clopedia.
06/04/02 -	Fixed the Amber Code ticker... for some reason of the design of my site, it wasn't displaying correctly. It displayed correctly on the code Amber site, so it was something to do with my site. Changing the P to a SPAN fixed the problem. Added link to MNG plugin to Mozilla entry in browser compatibility list. Updated Opera entry.

03/03/15 -	I finished revising chapter three of TLOC:FWWS. I just need to change three names, and then I'll release it.
03/03/14 -	Updated the browser list, rearranged the list based on the level of compatibility. Removed site update ribbon from the top of the index. Remove Mosaic from the browser list. That browser is a JOKE. It doesn't even display basic tables properly. It also doesn't support (or support very well): PNG, MNG, div, align, and bgcolor.
03/03/10 -	I released the revision to chpater two of TLOC:FWWS. Took me long enough, didn't it?
03/03/08 -	I started working on something and ended up rewriting some of my JavaScripts. They now use the W3C DOM and should be compatible with all W3C compliant JS-enabled browsers. Pages affected: haiku, lineage, questions
03/03/07 -	Minor changes to various pages as I tested the site in different browsers. I didn't bother to add Amaya (W3C's browser). The site looked awful, but I don't think anyone actually uses that browser for web surfing. It doesn't handle JS, doesn't render a background color correctly, and doesn't even properly support tables. Bleah. Added a "Browser Compatibility List" to the index. That's a lot of browsers. Bloatware, most of it. Lynx, however, was only about 700KB zipped, and I downloaded it twice before I was confident I actually had it. It was so fast downloading I thought the download had zorched. That took a long time, downloading and testing with all those browsers. It'll be faster the next time I do a browser test, however. :)
03/03/06 -	I redesigned the Thoughts Area page. I spent all day on this, so I hope everyone likes it. Tested a few pages in Opera, and I found an error on the Questions page. Fixed. Added a mention of Opera to the PNG paragraphs on the index. Trimmed that paragraph a little. made some minor adjustments and an error correction on the Info Area page.
03/03/05 -	I didn't wait until the weekend... Following are the details of my site re-design: I took down the text-only index. This is my site, and I'll do with it as I please. I edited the Large Header image (moved it down visually about 4 pixels (I edited it because I was thinking about changing my background color... IE doesn't properly support transparency, so I didn't)). I removed the IFRAME with my LJ in it and made the link in the NavBox a direct link. I restructured the navigation of the site and made three mew pages for navigating the four major site areas (as mentioned on Feb 7 of this year). I updated my web design philosophy on the index. I added links for the major areas to the NavBox. I changed the colors of text and links and things (on the main page... I'll fix the other pages when I have time). Minor changes to the News page. I changed the color scheme on all "Tree-lined" pages. I moved links on the index from within paragraphs to following paragraphs. I started a By Date Started list of files. I'll include it in the navigation scheme at a later date...maybe. I ran Xenu on the site...and a few minutes later, all was well. I had renamed some files and forgotten to change the links. Done now.
03/03/04 -	I changed the haiku on the index page. I removed the "Big Brother" links from the index page. News: I intend to redesign the site very soon. I'll probably make the first changes this weekend.
03/02/25 -	I added a new question to the Questions page.
03/02/22 -	I started a new page in the Poland section. I went ice skating.
03/02/15 -	I corrected an error on the Whois page. Thanks to Kadin for pointing it out.
03/02/15 -	I made major updates to the Poland section: I added several photographs. I started a second photo page. I moved the main navigation set to the top of the Poland index. I added a graphical ruler to the navigation set. I made a few minor changes and corrected some minor mistakes. I changed the haiku on the Index. I added a Poland link to the En-site-clopedia. (This is going to be a huge upload)
03/02/13 -	I posted the new version of TLOC:FWWS:Chapter One. I haven't exactly decided what to do, but I've pretty firmly decided I'll only post the first three chapters online. I'd like to get orders for the book and do a POD run on the book. We'll see.
03/02/10 -	I added a new page to the Poland section. I added some dating to the Poland main page. Made numerous other small changes to the Poland section; mostly housekeeping: cleaning up alignments, adding titles, cleaning up the HTML. I fixed the title of my website on the Novel page. I have started re-writing my first novel. It's slow going, but perhaps I'll have something to post soon.
03/02/09 -	I took down my novel. I'll put part of it back up once I've decided how to proceed with it. I added a link to my Writing page link section. I updated my wish list. Yeah. So?
03/02/07 -	I added a searchable Hub page to the site. I don't know whether it will do anything useful, but I put it up anyway. I actually started the site map to help me organize my text-only index, but I might be able to use it for the purpose of reorganizing my site with different, well-defined sections. More on that as it happens.
03/02/06 -	I started a text-only index of the site. It's a lot of work, so I'm not sure whether this was a good idea. Well, I'll comment out the link to it until I decide it really is a good idea. I added a site map to the site. I repaired a title error that has been on the site since the very beginning (or nearly). Ugh!
03/02/05 -	I added a couple of questions to my Question page. Found a title in one of the Random pages that I'd forgotten to change. Fixed. I cleaned up the news page a little. I decided not to upload these changes today, since I'm a little long on my hours this month.
03/02/04 -	I added a section to the index page for my Website Design Philosophy. I added a nifty PNG graphic at the top of my index page. I moved the Webring box to above the En-site-clopedia.
03/02/01 -	I added a new Random page to the site. The last time I added one, I seem to have forgotten to link to it. Fixed. I changed the haiku in the NavBox. This won't show on this site, but it's news: I'll be adding links to all my bogus entries so people finding them in my LiveJournal can come and read my Random thoughts.
03/01/31 -	I translated the e-gold banner to a MiNG file, so it's back up! :) I added a link from the NavBox to my Writing page, and I did some work there, too. I removed all the (broken link) rows from my Writing page. Oops... Found a link to DarkCounter I forgot to remove when I took the counters off my Novel pages yesterday. Minor invisible changes.
03/01/30 -	I made a major site update today. It affected 66 HTML files, including this one. I have removed every GIF file from my website, and I am replacing them with PNG (Portable Network Graphic) files. The upshot is that I finally have all my files in lowercase, as they should be. The downside is that I had to change each filename manually, individually (not all 66. Many files I had already changed (but I had to do it manually when I did that)). I have also had to, of course, replace each GIF file individually. I used a JPG for my copyright image, because it must be viewable by everyone. I made some major and minor changes to the index page: Removed (sadly) my "compliance" image. My site isn't as compliant as it once was. Oh, well. Function beats compliance in my book. Added a few paragraphs explaining this GIF=>PNG thing. Added a link from the NavBox to the Webrings box Added an ugly box to the top of the page that links to the paragraphs explaining the GIF removal (Update: I changed the ugly box to a tasteful link). I removed the question from my Question page regarding an image. I got all artsy and made the image myself. The result was pretty good. (Skreyola) Removed the dot campaign stuff... The dot was a GIF. Um... the e-gold banner, too.
03/01/27 -	I added a new "random thoughts" page to the site. I removed the header "What is New?" from the index page and made the link in the Nav box a direct link. I added a page for questions I have for readers and made a direct link to it in the Nav box.
03/01/26 -	I indexed the tags page, so it should be more user-friendly now. I added a few links to my En-site-clopedia. I moved a few things around and changed the heading format. The new format is not as user-friendly to people who use screen readers and such, but I just couldn't get it to look right any other way. I'm adding div tags as a work-around. Sorry. I added another table for spacing around the navigation box. I cleaned up the code on the index page a little bit, too. Not a change, but it is news: I cleaned out my website directory. Almost every file there now is accessible from the web, i.e. it's actually part of the site. There are 125 files. Only about 8 of these are not actively in use by the website, but they are there for templating or for future use. My website now uses actively 117 files. I ran a link check on the local version of the site and found some errors that hadn't shown up with the online version. I need to match the files on the server with the files I have. sigh Fixed two broken links, changed a few URLs that get redirected to the URLs they end up on. During my scan, this was listed as an orphan file, so I'll link to it here; then it won't be an orphan.
03/01/25 -	I added a haiku to the haiku page. I added a lineage page to my website. My website's directory on my machine contains 158 files. The website itself uses about 150 files. Wow.
03/01/17 -	Fixed commenting error on the news page. Ugh. Why don't people tell me about these errors? Added one question to the whois page. Removed the Zines category from my links page. Being as I don't read them, why should I link to them?
03/01/15 -	I changed the haiku on the index page. I added a new page to the Poland section.
03/01/12 -	I added another essay to the essays page. Added links to En-site-clopedia.
03/01/10 -	I added a new page to the Poland section. Ugh! These errors! I fixed one on the fourth random thoughts page. Speaking of random thoughts, I added another page of them. Speaking of errors, the last time I added a random page, I forgot to put up a link for it. Fixed. I updated my wishlist, too, not that that is important.
03/01/04 -	Added some photos to the Poland section. I'm slowly starting to replace my substitute letters with images of the actual Polish letters. It's not too pressing, so I don't know when I'll finish it.

02/12/25 -	I fixed a broken link and an erroneous title. Why didn't I see that title error four months ago? Ugh. I added a new page to the Poland section, and promptly filled the entire page, so I'll add another one the next time I update the section. I updated my main page with the following: Took down the hit counter. I really don't care about hits, and it slows the load time, so it's now gone (What I do care about is feedback). Updated my wish list by taking down things I no longer need/want and what I did get for Christmas. Changed a relative date reference to an absolute reference. Commented out link to wish list... but my birthday is in the summer, so the list is still there. Changed the haiku.
02/12/24 -	I made a major update to page 11 of the Poland section.
02/12/15 -	In case any of you are wondering, a webmaster carries the sole responsibility for checking his site for broken links. I found one today that's been on my site since I changed ISPs (in May). Well, it wasn't broken until I emailed my old ISP and complained that they were displaying an outdated version of my website. I updated a few links, took down some broken ones, and I wonder what COX did with that page. :( I also added a Michael Christian essay to my essays page. I plan to make some more changes today... I'll probably have this updated then. This page is actually one I'm considering updating. I'm putting it off because I don't like tables that much. Unfortunately, I've fought with the layout of this page for a long time, and I can't see any other way to get things to line up properly. I forgot to mention this whenever I did it, but I took down the consumer poll... The results were inconclusive, but seem to suggest that people are willing to pay about 7% more for a product if they can buy it at a store which has good customer service. Updated News page... it should align correctly in everyone's browser. Added two new links to the main page. Added Christian Code page, and updated whois page.
