The Southern Milky-Way  (Scutum through Puppis)   March 25/April 4, 1998. Ayers Rock, Australia   Composite of Eight Images, 105mm Lens, f4. Losmandy GM-8 Mount, Auto-Guided by an SBIG ST-4 (Sagittarius region is at f5.6 from Mt. Laguna, CA on 7/24/98)   Each image is two 20 minute exposures (except Sagittarius which is four), taken with a Pentax 67 Medium-Format Camera Un-Hypered Kodak PRO-400 (PPF) 120 Film (ISO 400)    The original negatives were scanned with a UMAX Powerlook 3000 Scanner, Blended & Composited using Picture Window, and processed with Adobe Photoshop 4.0.   Return to Southern Gallery Return to Main Menu   © David Churchill 1998
