All MBS members have one thing in common: they are budgie enthusiasts! Some of our members have pet budgies, while others are interested in exhibiting their Budgies in shows. MBS boasts several novices, two intermediates and two champion Exhibitors. Some of us keep a few birds, others have many. Some of us are newcomers, others have more than 20 years experience in keeping, raising and showing Budgies. Our experienced breeders are a wonderful resource for the rest of the club, and are more than willing to share their knowledge with others. On the Virginia side, members reside in the Metropolitan Washington DC area and in the southern half of the Commonwealth. On the Maryland side, we have members in Gaithersburg and Takoma Park. Meetings take place quarterly. Since our membership is scattered across two states, we plan hold meetings at different locations to accommodate everyone.
