...and the glorious appearing of
the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ
Who gave Himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity,
and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The Temple of God was Opened in Heaven...

...And a Little Child Shall Lead Them
Isaiah 11:6-9: "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
{7} And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
{8} And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
{9} They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My Holy Mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."
The Lion of the Tribe of Judah...
Rev 5:2-10: "And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the Book, and to loose the seals thereof?
{3} And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the Book, neither to look thereon. {4} And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the Book, neither to look thereon.
{5} And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the Book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
{6} And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. {7} And he came and took the Book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. {8}
And when he had taken the Book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
{9} And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the Book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; {10} And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth."
Rev 5:11-13: "And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; {12} Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. {13} And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever."
Rev 7:9-17: "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; {10} And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
{11} And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, {12} Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
{13} And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? {14} And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. {15} Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
{16} They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. {17} For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."
...A New Heaven and a New Earth:
Rev 21:1-8: "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. {2} And I John saw the holy City, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. {3} And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. {4} And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. {5} And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. {6} And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the Water of Life freely. {7} He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. {8} But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

...And the Twelve Gates were
Twelve Pearls
Rev 21:9-27:
{9} And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven
vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come
hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. {10} And he carried
me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that
great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, {11}
Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious,
even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; {12} And had a wall great and
high, and had
twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels,
and names
written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children
of Israel: {13} On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the
south three gates; and on the west three gates.
{14} And the wall of the
city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles
of the Lamb. {15} And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure
the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. {16} And the city
lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he
measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and
the breadth and the height of it are equal. {17} And he measured the wall
thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of
a man, that is, of the angel.

{22} And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the Temple of it. {23} And the City had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the Light thereof. {24} And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the Light of it: and the kings of theearth do bring their glory and honour into it. {25} And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. {26} And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
{27} And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

And he showed me a pure river of Water of Life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. {2} In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the Tree of Life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the Tree were for the healing of the nations.
{3} And there shall be no more curse: but the Throne of God and of The Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve Him: {4} And they shall see His face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. {5} And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. {6} And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
{7} Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this Book.
{8} And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things. {9} Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. {10} And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. {11} He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. {12} And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. (Rev 22:13 KJV)
Blessed are they that do His Commandments, that they may have right to the Tree of Life, and may enter in through the Gates into the City. (Rev 22:14 KJV)
Therefore, Be Ye Also Ready...
Mat 24:37-44: "But as the days of Noe [Noah] were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. {38} For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, {39} And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
{40} Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. {41} Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
{42} Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. {43} But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
{44} Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."
Heb 11:8-10: "By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a
place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he
went out, not knowing whither he went. {9} By faith he sojourned in the
land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with
Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: {10} For he
looked for a City which hath foundations, whose Builder and Maker is God."
Heb 11:13-16: "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. {14} For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. {15} And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. {16} But now they desire a Better Country, that is, an Heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them A City..."
{1} Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, {2} Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the Throne of God." |

2 Tim 2:1-10 NIV:
"You then, my son, be strong in the Grace that is in Christ Jesus. {2} And
the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust
to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.
{3} Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. {4} No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs -- he wants to please his commanding officer. {5} Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the Victor's Crown unless he competes according to the rules. {6} The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. {7} Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this. {8} Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, {9} for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God's word is not chained. {10} Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory."

Revelation 4: "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in
heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet
talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things
which must be hereafter.
{2} And immediately I was in the spirit; and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. {3} And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. {4} And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads Crowns of Gold.
{5} And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices:
and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are
the seven Spirits of God. {6}
And before the throne there was a sea of
glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about
the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
{7} And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. {8} And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. {9} And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, {10} The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, {11} Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." (Revelation 4:) |
Rev 4:10-11: "The four and twenty elders fall down before Him that sat on The Throne, and worship Him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before The Throne, saying, {11} Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created."
Our Incorruptible Crown
Rev 14:14-15: "And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud
One sat like unto the Son of Man, having on His head a
Golden Crown, and
in His hand a sharp sickle. {15} And another angel came out of the Temple,
crying with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy
sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest
of the earth is ripe."

Our Incorruptible Crowns1 Cor 9:24-27 KJV: "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. {25} And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.{26} I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: {27} But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." |
