The 1 0 Commandments

"And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire, (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;)" (Deu.5:1-5)

That it May Be Well
with Them...

Deuteronomy 5:22-33:

A Prophet like Moses - Deu.18:15 These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me. (Deu 5:22 KJV)

And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders; (Deu 5:23 KJV)

And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath showed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth. (Deu 5:24 KJV)

Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die. (Deu 5:25 KJV)

For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived? (Deu 5:26 KJV)

Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it. (Deu 5:27 KJV)

And the LORD heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken. (Deu 5:28 KJV)

O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! (Deu 5:29 KJV)

Go say to them, Get you into your tents again. (Deu 5:30 KJV)

candlesticks But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it. (Deu 5:31 KJV)

Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. (Deu 5:32 KJV)

Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess. (Deu 5:33 KJV)

Let God Be True,
and every man a liar.
Romans 3:1-25

Exodus 20 - Moses receives the Ten Commandments "What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? {2} Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. {3} For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? {4} God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

{5} But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man) {6} God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world? {7} For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? {8} And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

Moses throws down the Tablets {9} What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; {10} As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: {11} There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. {12} They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. {13} Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: {14} Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: {15} Their feet are swift to shed blood: {16} Destruction and misery are in their ways: {17} And the way of peace have they not known: {18} There is no fear of God before their eyes.

The Golden Calf {19} Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. {20} Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. {21} But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; {22} Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

{23} For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; {24} Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: {25} Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God..." (Rom 3:25 KJV)

But Where Sin Abounded,
Grace did Much More Abound.
Romans 5:17-21:

Adam expelled from the Garden For if by one man's offence, death reigned by one [Adam]; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. (Rom 5:17 KJV)

Therefore as by the offence of one [Genesis 3:23-24], judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [Luke 22:41-42], the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. (Rom 5:18 KJV)

Not My Will but Thine For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one, shall many be made righteous. (Rom 5:19 KJV)

Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: (Rom 5:20 KJV)

That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign, through righteousness, unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom 5:21 KJV)

El Shaddai
God Provides a Ram El Shaddai, El Shaddai, El Elyon na Adonai,
Age to age You're still the same,
By the power of the Name.
El Shaddai, El Shaddai, Erkamka na Adonai,
We will praise and lift you high, El Shaddai.

Through your love and through the ram,
You saved the son of Abraham;
And by power of Your Hand,
Turned the sea into dry land.
To the outcast on her knees,
You were the God who really sees.
And by Your might You set your children free.

El Shaddai, El Shaddai, El Elyon na Adonai,
Age to age You're still the same,
By the power of the Name.
El Shaddai, El Shaddai, Erkamka na Adonai,
We will praise and lift you high, El Shaddai.

God Provides His Lamb Through the years You made it clear,
That the time of Christ was near.
Though the people failed to see,
What Messiah ought to be.

Though Your Word contained the plan,
They just could not understand:
Your most awsome work was done,
Through the frailty of Your Son.

El Shaddai, El Shaddai, El Elyon na Adonai,
Age to age You're still the same,
By the power of the Name.
El Shaddai, El Shaddai, Erkamka na Adonai,
We will praise and lift you high, El Shaddai.

Commandments "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates."
