I think Dennett (left) and Dawkins (right) are correct, but I think folks behind "brights" are making the same sort of marketing mistake Howard Bloom made. "Brights" and "Lucifer" are poor choices because many people find them off-putting, thereby eroding the message. Trouble is, I have yet to think of a suitable alternative. Photo lifted from Edge. |

energy use. May the weather and the gas shortage conspire to wake us up to
the need for conservation and renewable resources, including modern
