Ruth Hastings (left), Susan Pierce (in wheelchair), and Will Smith (right). Susan is the grandmother of Ruth and the mother-in-law of Will.

Written on the back of this photo is: "Susan Pierce & her daughter Ruth Hastings, Bill Smith." (Actually, Ruth is Susan's granddaughter, not her daughter.)

I estimate the date of this photograph to be 1941.

This photograph belonged to Will's daughter, Leola Smith Chrysler. The original of the photo is currently in my possession.
