Whitetail Deer Hunts

Kansas is widely recognized throughout North America as one of the top producers of Trophy Class Whitetail Bucks!  With four of the top five, six of the top ten, and ten of the top twenty non-typical records in the P&Y book, Kansas provides hunters with an unparalleled opportunity to bag a record wall-hanger!!

The key to a successful whitetail hunt in Kansas is largely influenced by access to the best hunting ground, hosting superior deer genetics, providing ample and proper nutrition, and supporting a managed deer population.  By combining your own skills as a hunter with good old fashioned patience, Quality Deer Management techniques, local reconnaissance and insight of the deer's habits and patterns, your odds for trophy success are greatly improved.

We offer you access to some of the best deer habitat Kansas has to offer through guided and semi-guided hunts so we can tailor your hunt to your individual expectations, the rest is up to you.

We currently maintain private Kansas leases in Barton, Ellsworth, Kiowa, Logan, Reno, Rice, and Russell counties (Includes Units 2, 4, 5, 6, and 16).

 The 2008-2009 Season

Forecast:

Based on our perfect track record of deer huning success I am confident 2008 will undoubtedly end up as yet another incredible season!  According to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, the state's deer herd age structure has been good in recent years and that about fifty percent of the antlered deer being harvested in recent years were at 2 1/2 years of age or older.

Kansas should again  live up to its reputation as one of the nation's top-end trophy buck states.

Muzzleloader Hunts

Kansas muzzleloader season starts in mid-September just after most bucks have shed their velvet.  During this time, bucks are often seen traveling together in bachelor groups.  Offering the greatest opportunity to hunt trophy whitetail that are yet un-pressured and that may still be patternable or a giant muley if you're fortunate enough to have an any deer tag, smokepole season is an exciting time for many hunters!

Archery Hunts

Rob's Smokin' 2007 187 4/8" Archery 8x6

The Kansas archery deer season spans nearly three months and includes the coveted Rut when bucks go head to head in their untiring quest for receptive does.  During this time of year you should expect to see both the greatest variety and numbers of crazed bucks patrolling the creeks and river!

Rifle Hunts

Beginning in early December and continuing for two weeks, the primary rut is now winding down but there are still plenty of opportunities to harvest a trophy wall-hanger!!  Young does are often just now entering their first estrus cycle and I have witnessed mature bucks still hot on their heels during early December hunts.  Early morning and late evening stand hunting still often proves most productive with "soft pushes" during the afternoon also very effective.
