Jan began her formal education at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, as an Interior Design and Art major. Since 1978, she has created unique, warm, inviting interiors for hundreds of clients. Her knowledge of fine art is evident in her ability to define three-dimensional space using the elements of color balance, contrast of texture, variety of height, and repetition of elements.
