Association Meeting Minutes
January 3 2006
Meeting was called to order by Pres. Bruce Quinn at 8:05 with the pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence for the departed members.
Secretary's Report: Report of Dec. meeting was read and a motion by Ray Quirk and seconded by Ray Xavier to accept as read. Motion carried.
Treasurers Report: Report was read by R. Page, (copy attached). Motion by Peter Schofield Sr. and seconded by Ray Quirk to accept as presented. Motion carried.
Way's and Means: Nothing to report.
By Law Committee: Proposed changes to the present by laws were read and were discussed at the meeting. No vote can be taken at this meeting. There will be a notified meeting next month for a vote.
Building Committee: On Jan. 29 2006 there will be an open house at the station with invitations ( by flyers) to the neighborhood to go over the plans for renovations to the present station.
S.K.F.F.R.: Meeting was held but nothing of substance to report.
R.I.S.F.L. No meeting
Public Education and Safety: Nothing to report.
Capt. Report: Capt. Munson reported that Sta. 5 responded to 7 alarms in the month of Dec. 4 structure, 2 box alarms,! brush.
Bills: None
Communications: A thank you letter was sent to the S.K. Lion's Club for their donation to Sta. 5. Also a letter was sent to the Jonnycake Center advising them to remove A. Tiscione name from the Snug Harbor Fire Assoc. letters as he is no longer a member. Capt. Munson will advise the R.I. Tourism Bureau of the dates and prices of the upcoming breakfasts.
