Javier "Fucking Give me some Jack Daniels" Vega- A good Drummer
Javier "Gimme a fukkin beer" Vega was 18 years old when he joined Social Spit in 1987, replacing drummer SKUMDOG. He borrowed a tape of SOCIAL SPIT songs and within a week he knew ALL of them, maybe about 30 songs. Fucker was one of the best drummers I've ever played with. Javier can be heard on the records "No Place Like Home" and "Live SPIT."
Javier played hareder and faster than any fukkin punk rocker could have possibly believed, and he served us well, until Social Spit retired in the Fall of 2000. In the Interims between active incarnations of SOCIAL SPIT Javier served with Big Black Boots and Meatwagon- Ripping up the fuckin shit with Darryl and Andy.
Hopefully Javvy is lifting up his right hand and saying, somewhere: "I Solemnly Swear that I am Up to No Good!"
