(Originally "Swiss Youth Riot- This song was the first actual PUNK Song I wrote back in 1980- I was reading the newspaper about a bunch of kids in Amsterdam[n] who literally too apart a whole STREET cos the kops had shut down their only meeting place- I thought HELL YAH, The KOPS can't CLOSE us DOWN, we'll DESTROY you! So back then I was listesning to a lot of the Pistols and the Clash, and so there is a GREAT influence of those two bands in this song. Later when I got home from a tour I was on, turns out I MISSED the rise and fall of this COOL club called "The Skeleton Club" that the KOPS had shut down, pretty much for the same reason the Amsterdamn cops shut down the Hostel in the song I wrote- So, I changed the name to PISSED YOUTH RIOT and I made it mroe about how the K-K-KOPS kept shutting us DOWN... The bands from LA could not come down cos there was NO place for them to play. This theme, the lack of a Decent Club, was in a LOT of our early material. So there is pretty much the bacjground for the song "Pissed Youth RIOT" which is more or less our ANTHEM through the years.)
