Nikita: What we know

Nikita is the daughter of Roberta Wirth (WOB) and was living on the streets when Section One framed her for a murder she did not commit (OTB).  She was taken into Section One and trained to be an agent for anti-terrorism, learning how to handle weapons and equipment, hand-to-hand combat, computer literacy, and other esoteric arts of spying (Nikita) and became one of the best operatives in Section (AGT).  Imbued with irrepressible will and love of life, she survived Section’s training with most of her selfdom intact, hanging on tightly to her ideals and values.

Nikita often allows her heart to rule her head, going against protocol on missions to champion the innocent underdog where she perceives injustice.  Her lively spark and sunny personality has affected Section One as much as Section One has affected her, softening some of those around her with friendship and in her mentor’s case: with love (ITLG).  The unbridled expression of her nature has not been without consequences, however.  She has in the past been placed in abeyance and been the subject of various forms of control by Operations and Madeline (Mercy, OBT).

Although it is known who Nikita’s mother is (WOB), the identity of her father is still clouded. Although George informed her that Operations killed her father, Madeline declared that Operations is her father (NOLF). Operations himself claims that is a revelation he cannot confirm. It is not known if she has siblings.  She did have some education (Brainwash), but it’s not known how much.  Whatever her full background, it is evident that she possesses the intelligence, ability, and luck to have survived and become one of the most capable agents in Section One’s arsenal.
