Walter appears to be supervisor of the armory, although if he has an official title or anyone who reports directly to him, it hasn't been mentioned on any episode. He is in charge of inventory of the equipment and weapons, the design and manufacture of explosives and specialized espionage equipment, and analyzing captured apparatus. He has been seen outside of Section on sanctioned missions only rarely in the early seasons of the show. |
| Walter has been with Section One since before Operations (TOP). There appears to be some history between them, probably rooted in common experiences for Walter said that he knew Operations before he was Operations (AGT). Walter performs his job well, working long hours, showing enthusiasm for the technology of weapons, and concern that his support position is sufficient to protect the operatives in the field. | ![]() |

Walter’s life outside Section is unknown. He was married briefly in Season Two to Belinda, a Section operative. He has professed few other relationships outside casual liaisons: a speech pathologist unaffiliated with Section and a woman from Belize whom Madeline used as a method of testing Walter’s ability to keep Section One secret (WOB). If he has had other marriages, children, or family, it has not been mentioned on the show. |
