WHAT IS AUTOMATIC WRITING?

Automatic Writing is a process whereby a psychic uses a pen or pencil, or in Fran's case, a typewriter, to receive detailed information from a spiritual source without thought or conscious effort.  Information is felt to be received from a discarnate entity (or entities) through the unconscious, filtering into the conscious mind without interpretation by the receiver and is immediately written or typed as it comes through.  Generally the psychic puts him/herself into a type of "altered state" making it easier to receive the data without question.  In Fran's case, the detail and style of the writings made it clear to her she was not the initiator of the information.

Through a process over time, Fran discovered spirit teachers could provide information through her which she, in turn, would transmit to her clients.

Fran easily alters her mind, asking "Ephraim" to respond to the questioner, and receives any detail which "Ephraim" brings into her mind.  Fran does not analyze what is given, but immediately types it as it is fed to her, checking only for spelling and punctuation if needed after the session is complete.  Written readings may vary in length depending on the kind of reading chosen but are usually at least two to three typed pages.

No copies of these readings are ever made, and Fran has the unique ability to eliminate their contents from her memory as soon as the transmission is ended.
