1960 Datsun Fairlady (SPL212)

Datsun's first sportscar introduced to the USA in 1960.  It was a four seat convertible equipped with a four cylinder 1200cc 48hp engine and a four speed transmission.  The humble beginning of a legendary line of sportcars appreciated by many Datsun enthusiasts throughout the world today.

Datsun continued improving its sportscars over time introducing new models:  SPL213 (1300), SPL310 (1500), SPL311 (1600), SRL311 (2000) and 240Z - 300ZX.  The sportscars have been commonly known as "Fairlady", "Roadsters", "Z" or "ZX" in the USA.

Please leave me email if you own a SPL212/SPL213.  I would like to add yours to our Registry.
