Writing is one of the things I do for both enjoyment and satisfaction in creating something of my very own.  I offer my writing to those who want to read it, and hope they enjoy what they read of my work as much as I have enjoyed bringing it life.

Here, you will see some samples of some of short stories which have been previously published.  I will also update links on this page to other articles and stories which may be published on the Internet, or links back to magazine sites which offer paper publishing.  I will also offer you samples of some of the novels I have written.

~Some Additional Thoughts~

Have you ever wondered just what exactly is "up" with all the hype concerning the paranormal and the realms of science fiction these days?  UFO sightings and alien abductions are nearly common place in today's society.  Psychics have their own television slots, ghost busters are growing fame in leaps and bounds.  I find myself drawn to many areas of the "paranormal world", mainly in the areas and somewhat naturally for me, as a writer of science fiction, to investigations of space itself and also UFO research, debate, investigation, and mental exercise in stretching for explanations for these happenings.

Recently I had my own encounter of something which can not just be explained simply in the least.  Luckily, I was not the only observer of this event but after it was over and I sought all of the local news networks, radio news broadcasts and newspaper as well, I was actually shocked to see it was never actually reported to any of these mediums.  I took it upon myself to go ahead and report this to an Internet forum in the hopes that eventually, someone else who witnessed the same event as I did might actually post their own version of what was such a fantastic observation and then perhaps it would give me more of a degree of credibility myself.  I also strongly feel full sympathy now for the people who are actually witnesses not only to what can be called "UFO" activity but witnessing any form of a sighting of anything having to do with any particular "branch" or "form" of what is commonly dubbed "paranormal".  The vast majority of the human population will, at some point in their lives, have an event played out for them personally which is so profound and so contradictory to what is taught us our entire lives as what is "normal" that they have a very valid fear of coming forward and telling others what they had personally witnessed for fear of redicule and jokes.  Many times, an experience which will happen to a person is so profound for their personal psyche--it is not only understandible for that person to immediately begin doubting themselves and ultimately their very own senses and it becomes very easy to convince yourself what you saw, felt, heard or witnessed in any way must have been nothing more than a their mind simply playing tricks on them.  It is so much easier for a person to talk themselves into accepting this as an explanation that it is simply better to accept "it never happened" rather than become seen by others as a complete loon.

For my own official report of the event, please see the posting filed on the UFO Evidence website by clicking here.  (http://www.ufoevidence.org/sightings/report.asp?ID=9467)  I would also encourage you to post your own reports of strange events which have happened in your life as well.  Remember, if we can somehow manage to convince ourselves how vitally important it is to report these things instead of just forcing yourself to forget it even happened to you--science will never be able to actually ever pick up a thread or method of actual ways to seek out, learn and understand how it is these things can and do happen.

In summary, I had just gotten off my work shift and was on my way home.  David and I live within a very short distance of our workplace so even on the busiest days of traffic, we have no problem reaching our home in more than a ten minute time frame.    Also, our work site is directly next to Interstate 540 which is typically very heavily traveled at any point during the day, and as a matter of fact, my own sighting took place in the late afternoon and just before actual sunset and I-540 is within clear sight of where I had pulled my truck over to get out of my vehicle and observe the craft which was simply hovering silently, and every so slowly rotating so I was absolutely certain there had to have been a lot of other people seeing the same thing I was.  I won't bother repeating the full report on this page as it is already posted on the Internet and I have given you the link to see the actual report itself.  But I must say  that when the sighting was actually over, I found myself completely bewildered by my own reaction to the event I had personally witnessed.

I have longed for such a sighting for so long in my life.  I used to envy the reports from different individuals and often found myself wondering if the day would come when I would actually get to see any such strange phenomena myself.  I had always thought if it ever did happen for me, I would most likely be so excited to actually see it I would have literally been jumping up and down and exclaiming to anyone within earshot my sheer overwhelming excitement.  My actual reaction could not be further from an excited reaction.

While this was taking place, I found myself actually going into full and concentrated analytical mode--noticing the noises around me, the way the now setting sunlight was reflecting off the surface from the object, trying to gauge the distance from ground to the object itself by different landmarks and trees in the very immediate vicinity, the exact number of seconds it took the object to do a full rotation as it slowly spun while hovering in place just above the tree tops...

I discovered while I was observing this happening that what my mind was actually trying to do was making every effort to disprove in any way I could rationalize that this was truly a human made object and nothing that could be considered as not coming from this Earth.  Personally, I failed in this and to this day, I'm left with only being able to say with conviction that I simply have no idea whatsoever what this actually could have been.  I won't say it was a spacecraft.  I won't say it wasn't.  I simply do not know.

But also in retrospect, I realized fully that the way my mind worked analytically, this fact may very well give me a full advantage about getting very serious about making steps in my own life to actually join with other dedicated investigators seeking hard evidence, scientific data to fully explain different phenomena, and maintain a somewhat clinical detachment from the subject matter itself in order to fully seek evidence which will make some sightings so crystal clear as absolutely "unknown"--because this is the only way "serious" science will ever accept full research into the many mysteries typically associated with "paranormal" as exactly what it truly is--pure science application seeking complete understanding.

Also at this point in my own life, I have been forced to accept there is another gap so profound in my understanding of the universe (as we currently know it) in the pursuit of seeking answers to what becomes of each of us upon our physical deaths.  This need has become strong enough within me that I am now also seeking joining with a professional paranormal investigative team who is dedicated to collecting hard evidence and scientifically applied methods to achieve facts and with that, further acceptance in academia to continue seeking further answers.  In short, I'm working to become an actual and professional "ghost hunter".

We are taught in science that energy can neither be created, nor destroyed but can only be changed in nature or form.  The living human body is full of neural energy--this can be measured by the transmission of electric currents across nerve synapses and this is an absolute medical fact.  The question remains--since the physical laws of nature dictate that energy in whatever form can only be changed in actual containment--where exactly does the neural energy go when the body dies.  Is this energy potentially the scientific evidence of the actual soul?

The world has taken a somewhat fantastical leap into the realms of the purely "unknown" and the "strange".  Although I am a firm believer in the possibilities of all of these things existing in our world today--I am also a very firm skeptic, and practice the devout hand of the scientist on every new account of these happenings with the precision of a hard-nosed investigator.

As should you all be.

But remember--investigation for the truth is a never ending process. ..

I have also had many very deep and personal experiences in the area of spirits, or ghosts.  Recently I had another experience in this realm and as I said the need to try to find a level of understanding for how and why, when I have an exprience in this, it leaves me so completely full of questions which burns so intensly I can no longer ignore the need for understanding.  Call this a spiritual or personal religious wake up call if you like--no matter how it can be labaled, the fact remains I need to do what it takes to gain a better understanding of why, how where.

So, with that being said, you can be assured I'll post my progress here in this site for you on the progression of my own journey in all of these areas.  I would also encourage you to look beyond your question of "should I give this a try" because if this sounds like a familiar question to you, then you have been asking yourself this question way too much already.  Stop asking.  Just get out there and do it.
