*Call me a Bolt-Head! I am a big fan of the San Diego Chargers, from the Air Coryell days with Dan Fouts, a long and tortuous wait after that until the Humphries era, and now what looks like a "Rivers and LT" era. Here's hoping Norv Turner can take us to the next level...soon! *I have followed the San Diego Padres from the late 70s and into their first World Series in '84 (well, they did win ONE game) and another appearance in the '98 World Series. Was a great day in 2004 when the Padres made the cross-town move to their new home...downtown in Petco Park! * I am also a fan of hockey, though my San Diego Gulls folded last year >:-O but am hopeful hockey will return to San Diego in the future. Sometimes looks more like an amateur boxing match with occasional hockey thrown in, but some of that is just a part of the game. :-) A MUST SEE hockey video is "Slap Shot" with Paul Newman, and the infamous "Hanson" brothers >:-) |
