Hi, we are Rocky and Loretta Drown, living in San Diego, California. Together we have been raising Staffordshire Bull Terriers for 20 years, and have been fortunate enough to have a line of Staffies that are highly sought after the world over.
Loretta has been with the breed for over 35 years and she has had Pit Bulls many years before she graduated to Staffordshire Bull Terriers. For 16 years Loretta had a pre-school with kids of birth to five years old, in which she used the Staffies as a nature study for the children, and never once had even an unpleasant experience with them. The amazingly tolerant Staff would love to handled by the children, who were curious to try to touch their eyes before they blink, or put tinker toys up their nose, or see if their whiskers would come off, with never a retaliation!
Staffies have an almost supernatural love of children, are extraordinarily resistant to pain, and highly intelligent. They are wash and wear, easy to care for, have virtually no health problems breedwise, making him the perfect family dog! When it really counts, the Staff will gallantly and courageously give his life to protect his master.
