Hello folks,

It is with heavy heart that I send this message to all our clients, to

protect you from the heartache that one of our clients has felt, fairly

recently. Some of you I have mentioned the following, but I realize that

to some I have not. It is to you whom are unaware of this, that I speak.

Recently, one of our clients, who dearly love their two Staffies,

installed a swimming pool in their back yard. (you know where I'm going

with this). When one evening, they called the dogs in for dinner, only

one came. There followed a scream of horror from the upstairs deck, from

their little daughter, as she saw their wonderful 2 year old  boy Staffy

in the bottom of the pool! They have three beautiful children, and this

loss has been devastating for them, to say the least! This is why I

write this warning; I don't wish for any one to have to endure such a

horrendous calamity as this one.

As a rule, you SHOULD NEVER ASSUME YOUR DOG CAN SWIM! Some can, but more often they cannot! Being bulldogs, they have a very dense muscle mass,

which will send them to the bottom in seconds!

YOU MUST TAKE THE TIME TO TEACH YOUR DOG TO SWIM, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HOW TO GET OUT OF THE POOL!!!!!

NEVER LET YOUR DOG SWIM UNATTENDED!

The hard part about being a breeder, is we hear about these accidents

altogether too often.

I hope in writing this letter, it will save a Staff, and you from

horrible heartache.

Tearfully,

Rocky Drown, Sonshine Staffords <><
