Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How old can you be to join?
A: Every member MUST be in, at least, 9th grade. We usually
stop taking people after college age. (Certain exceptions may
apply.)
Q: Do you have to audition to be in the
choir?
A: Absolutely NOT. Your role as a member of the choir is to
make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Not everyone was graced
with a great voice...or even a good voice. As they say, if you
have a "bad" voice, it's your responsibility to sing out twice as
strong to remind God of what He gave you. :)
Q: I don't sing but I DO play an
instrument. Can I still join?
A: The answer is YES!! Remember we are first and foremost a
choir. You will be asked to sing regularly. However, we
do, from time to time, use instruments in our music making and
worshiping. Anything we can use to enhance our music
is...well....MUSIC TO MY EARS!
Q: What happens if I have something to
do on a night when we have rehearsal?
A: Usually it's not a problem if it's not a regular thing. If
you know that you will consistently have problems with the rehearsal
night, then you may need to rethink about joining.
Q: How long have YOU been directing the
choir?
A: I started directing this choir about 4 years ago.
