SoonerCon 2006On behalf of our con chair, please post, re-post, or pass along this message to everyone you can think of.
"It's now official. SoonerCon 2006 will be Saturday and Sunday, July 15-16, 2006. Our hotel will be the Bricktown Central Plaza at I-35 and Reno, the same hotel that was home to several ThunderCons in the past.
SoonerCon will be a general-interest SF/Fantasy Con. We hope to have activities to interest many areas of Fandom, from anime to books to gaming to comics to TV/movies to toys. Help us represent YOUR interests!
We need help! Please join the Yahoo! discussion group and talk. Make plans to help out because many hands make light work. Any constructive suggestions are welcomed.
SoonerCon is a new attempt to have fun for area fans. A familiar name was chosen as a 'shorthand' attempt for goodwill and to give an idea of our focus. Anyone from any area group is welcome. Anyone NOT in a group is welcome."
