Welcome to the online edition of STAR OKC's monthly newsletter, the Galactic Gazette. Each issue of the Gazette will contain news about current and future STAR OKC activities and submissions from club members and others. The online editions will be posted here the Sunday after the meeting. The editor of the Galactic Gazette for 2004 is Mark Alfred, who can be contacted at gazette@starokc.org.

The Galactic Gazette is posted on the website in PDF format, which means that the online edition will be an exact duplicate of the print edition (except the PDF will have the added benefit of COLOR) and will include all cover and interior artwork, ads, club and convention fliers, and pictures from recent club parties and activities. PDF files can only be read with Acrobat Reader, which is available as a free download.

Submission Guidelines

The Galactic Gazette is STAR OKC’s monthly newsletter/zine, containing just about any fan-related writing.  We welcome your recipes, reviews of any form of entertainment, poems, brief fiction, articles, cosmic musings, and just about anything that may pertain to our members’ interests.  The Gazette depends on reader input, dear reader!  Your GG needs your submissions!  Send them to Mark Alfred, at msuperfan@cox.net, or gazette@starokc.org, by  the weekend before  the meeting.  Or you may bring 15 copies to the meeting, and your submission on mini-floppy to get it onto our Homepage.  The contents of each GG are copyright © by their respective authors.
