Here's my fourth and final attempt at photographing Mars for 2003. It may be obvious by now that Mars is getting smaller as the Earth pulls away in its faster orbit around the Sun than Mars. I used the same optical configuration as for my previous Mars photographs. The four views of Mars I've taken show details all the way around the planet and it's possible to see how its features connect between each of the views. Photograph by Rick Scott.
