No, the background picture (if you can see it) is not of Hill House.  It is Craigevar, our favorite Scottish Castle and the ancestral home of the Forbes family.  What is it doing as the background of a page devoted to the 20th Century Scots architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh?

Well, what was "Toshie" doing at Craigevar before he designed Hill House?  Obviously, taking a good look.  And if you take a good look at the windows and towers of Hill House you'll see a lot of the Scottish baronial style there.  We learned that thanks to a Guide at Craigevar who shared our enthusiasm for both Craigevar and Hill House.
