I'm a fairly recent resident of Cumberland, RI. Previously I lived in East Providence for about 15 years.
Rhode Island is a beautiful and interesting state. There's lots of stuff to do -- it's all conveniently located, and there's always plenty of good food! It's the smallest state in the Union, while possessing the longest name. The official title of this tiny piece of 35x45-mile land is The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. The politician who really helped to make Providence beautiful, Vincent (Buddy) Cianci, is presently in prison. I'm sure once he's released, if indeed it's legal, that he'll be re-elected as Mayor of Providence. One must give credit where credit is due, even if the one being credited is a criminal.
