Barbara M. Barbara (Simcik) Mansolf, 60, went to be with the Lord on Saturday (April 15, 2006) at MidState Medical Center. Born on April 10, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Paul N. and Harriet (Wnek) Mansolf. Barbara was a lifelong resident of Meriden. She was a dedicated member of the South Kensington Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Barbara is survived by her loving sons: Adam Simcik of Meriden and his fiancé Tracy Garrigus and her daughter Caitlin Garrigus of Berlin, Craig Simcik and his wife Erin (Meacham) of Berlin; her sister: Paula Banasiewicz and her husband Lucian of Windsor; three nephews: Steven G. Banasiewicz and his partner Paul Archaski of Southington, Eric P. Banasiewicz and his wife Rebecca Cole of Windsor; Brian J. Banasiewicz and his girlfriend Amy O. Noyes of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two great nieces: Lexi and Candace Banasiewicz of Windsor; her cousins: Patricia Surowiecki and her husband Mark and their son Mark, "Marky" of Meriden, Nancy Dubay and her husband Clayton of Berlin; her aunt: Genevieve (Wnek) Raczka; uncles: Edward Wnek, John Wnek, Leon Wnek and his wife Lorraine, all of Meriden; Roman H. Wnek and his wife Marie of Lakeland, FL and numerous other beloved family and friends. Family and friends are invited to Barbara's Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated on Saturday April 22, at 9 a.m. at Saint Stanislaus Church in Meriden. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden CT.
