Subject: Re: What's up?
A restraining order and divorce papers were served to [my husband] on Tuesday night. He moved in with his mother in New Britain. [My son] helped him but did not seem very happy with the situation. [My other son] is happy. [My husband] will see my lawyer who will be a mediator between the two of us. There is about $138,000 in the pension & annuity minus the house $80,000 or $90,000, so I get twenty something thousand change.
I brought a new member of the family home to take his place, a two-yr. old golden retriever/collie mix female dog whom I named "Snuffy Sue". She had 4 puppies and was very upset at leaving them. They were in a separate cage at the Berlin pound for about a week. I have to drop her off at the vet 7:30 am Tuesday to be spayed etc and will pick her up on Wednesday after work. It's late and I have to get to bed. She is sleeping by the back door but every time I get up and leave the room, she follows me. I hope she is okay tomorrow by herself. I will leave the radio on to keep her company.
Merry Christmas! This divorce is the best present I ever had in 30 years. except for the kids.
Love you a bunch,
AUNT BARBI
