:: CSBowling Clinic Document: The Release: The Key to Success ::
|
For better accuracy and higher scores, be sure your wrist remains in the same position through the stance and throughout the approach, release, and follow through.
Some new bolwers have difficulty with the release. A beginning bowler will usually try to use advanced hand positions before they master the basic hand positions. Some bowlers try to force the hook by turning there hand up over the ball upon the release. This leads to inconsistent results. You should maintain your hand position from the satnce, to the follow through.
